Burnout.jpg

I was burnt out.
I had spent 14 years studying to be a doctor.

I was working 70+ hours a week. And then my wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

I remember sitting in a medical lecture when I received the text: “They found two tumors in my ovaries.” Everything around me lost focus and intensity. There was nowhere to hide from the Truth of the situation.

My focus shifted from the mundane to the meaningful.

We did everything we could think of to stop the cancer. And then everything we could think of to ease the pain. And finally, everything we could think of to support a meaningful Death.

But in the end, there were greater forces at work than I, even with all my knowledge and training, could control. At the moment of her death, I felt her spirit expand. She became present everywhere and throughout time.

There is something beyond the material world that I had known.

“I believe very much in the way of the heart, the way of the soul, because you can create with your body, the invisible visible.”

— Marcel Marceau

I dedicate my life to developing my relationship with the subtle energies that connect us all.

That is what I bring to this work: a deep understanding of suffering and of ease. Introspection and action. Right and Wrong. Good and Evil. Fear and Love.

I honor and bless our journey together.
